The deadline for the James Baker Hall Foundation Book Award has closed and we are pleased to announce we received 27 full manuscripts! This year the award category is Creative Nonfiction by a Kentucky author with Creative Nonfiction being:

● Travel Writing
● Factual Storytelling
The judge for the 2026 contest is former Kentucky Poet Laureate, Richard Taylor. Stay tuned for the announcement of the winner in October!
