Accents Publishing Celebrates 15 Years in 2025

After forming a writing group in Lexington in 2006 and leading it for six years, Katerina was accepted in the Master of Fine Arts program at Spalding University, quit her job and began a radio show, Accents, which is now a podcast produced at WUKY Lexington. When she graduated from Spalding, she had two books published, one in Bulgaria and one in the US. It was during this process when Katerina felt there were things she would have done differently and felt that she could do well on the publishing end of things.

With a partner, she began to produce chapter books in her home by hand! In 2010, they converted to manufacturing with machines and because of the success of the company and demand, went automated in 2013. Today, Accents Publishing sells at market price and has worldwide distribution. They publish novels, short stories, fiction and poetry.

Visit Accents Publishing as they are running an anniversary sale with 30% off books until February 15. If you purchase three books, they will ship them to you for free (domestic shipping only).
