Good Giving Challenge Provides Opportunity for James Baker Hall Foundation

The James Baker Hall Foundation will be participating in the Good Giving Challenge sponsored by the Blue Grass Community Fund from Tuesday, December 3—Friday December 6. The online fundraising challenge gives organizations the chance to compete for prizes and raise funds for their missions.

Here’s how you can participate and help the James Baker Hall Foundation. Without giving too much away, we are working to create a significant match opportunity on Thursday, December 5th. The Angel Levas Foundation will be sponsoring a match through the Blue Grass Community Foundation and the Good Giving Challenge for Arts & Community from 1:00 PM until 11:59 PM. The Angel Levas Foundation will match $.50 for each dollar donated. On top of that, we have a donor who will also match your gift (up to $5,000) 2:1. So what does all of this mean? Take a look at what a $50 donation will do for the foundation:

$ 50 Your donation

$ 25 Levas Foundation match

$ 100 2:1 match from Angel Donor

_____

$ 175 Your total gift to JBHF

“This is a great opportunity for the foundation,” states Managing Director, Larry Pemble. “We have been working on providing the maximum benefit for donors and really encourage people to take advantage of the match opportunities.”

We will continue to tell you about some of the exciting things planned for the Good Giving Challenge as they continue to develop with communications throughout the month. If you have a fund at The Blue Grass Community Foundation and would like to give through your fund, contact Jane White at (502) 379-5250 or by email at jane@jamesbakerhall.org for more information.
